Roll Your Eyes for Better Sleep: Close your eyes and move them left to right for one minute. This mimics the way your eyes move in deep sleep upping the production of the sleep hormone melatonin. A research study found that people with adequate blood levels of melatonin were also less likely to have heart disease.
Relieve Stomachaches: When your stomach feels crampy and ugh after a heavy meal, take a quick trip to the fridge. Sounds counterintuitive, but eating 1/2 teaspoon of mustard (whether straight or on a cracker) provides fast relief. Stanford scientists say mustard seeds’ plant acids
improve the digestion and absorption of fats, speeding stomach emptying (and cramping in the process) in two minutes.
Reduce Bloating: Close your eyes and imagine unraveling a ball of yarn. This wacky trick has the power to ease GI discomfort caused by bloat in 10 minutes. Researchers reporting in the American Journal of Gastroenterology found that visualizing a soothing task calms the nerves that control digestive function, easing painful bloating and GI spasms by 80 percent.

Hi Everyone,
Who would you be and how would your life be different if you erased the thoughts that worry you?
Think carefully about a specific thought that’s been troubling you lately, and then imagine how your life would be different if you removed that thought:
- How would it change your outlook on your present life situation?
- Would you treat yourself and others differently?
- How would you feel?
- How would you act differently?
- What else would you now be able to accomplish?
To remove worry (or other limiting thoughts), start by stopping the rumination that’s controlling that thought, worry, or belief by saying either, Stop! Cancel Clear! Quiet! Erase! Delete! Remove!
Next, visualize or imagine yourself feeling the way you want. Take a deep breath, and talk to yourself in the first person, present tense and positive. Use words such as: I know…I am…I choose…I allow…I believe. Say it with conviction. Remember to always begin by taking a deep breath.
Whatever follows "I am" creates your future. If you want to know what you’re going to be 5 years from now, look at your ‘I am’ thoughts and statements. Example: "I am a procrastinator" versus "I am following through with…" Never get stuck by giving those limiting words life…flip the switch and tell yourself what you do want.
The key to success lies in your particular manner of thinking…When you change your thinking you change your life.
