Did You Know?
Extend the Life of Fresh Flowers: The secret to helping a bouquet of your garden blooms thrive: Drop a penny stamped with a date prior to 1982 into the vase. The copper (which is found in older coins) is known to banish wilt-causing bacteria, helping your flowers stay healthy.
Improve Your Memory: Rosemary oil contains several compounds shown in studies to facilitate activity of the chemical messenger in the brain that involves memory. In a British study, people over the age of 65 were divided among three rooms. One room was scented by placing four drops of rosemary essential oil in an aroma diffuser that ran for five minutes before participants entered. Another room was lavender-scented, and one was left unscented. The participants were presented with a series of challenges designed to assess prospective memory. The rosemary aroma improved the participants' memory by over 20%. You can also boil rosemary for the same effect. Afterwards you can use the rosemary water as a hair rinse or facial spay.
Quick Pain Relief: Fill a sock with uncooked rice, and tie a knot at the end. To soothe aches and pains, microwave the sock for 20 seconds at a time until warm and use as a heat pack, or freeze it for a cold pack. Drop a few drops of lavender oil in the rice before tying the knot.
Electric Cars Are Required to Make Noise: Even though electric car engines are almost soundless, the US mandates sounds as a safety measure. In Europe, electrics must sound similar to cars with combustion engines as of next year. One carmaker, BMW, has even hired award-winning film composer Hans Zimmer to develop sounds for its vehicles.

Testimonials
"Thank you for helping me overcome my deep seeded anger stemming from a childhood trauma. Marla, through your gentle and compassionate guidance, you helped create an instant trust that I was unable to receive from other therapists. In just two sessions of hypnosis and EFT, I finally feel free. EFT has proven to be an invaluable tool that I can also use on my own whenever needed. Thank you for your magnificent work, your insight and your support." ~ S. Henderson, ESQ

Hi Everyone,
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched...but are felt from the heart." ~ Helen Keller
With this being the time of year when we focus on gratitude, I'd like to take the opportunity to tell you just how much you mean to me. Even though we may not have seen much of each other this year (if at all), know that you are still in my thoughts and in my heart.
The gifts of family and friends are reflective mirrors of the riches of life. The precious moments and special memories I hold dear to my heart can never be replaced and are only enhanced because of who you are to me.
I am so grateful for your shining light of love and beautiful energy that you exude through your smile. I wish I was able to give each and every one of you a big hug and express my deepest gratitude.
Whatever you have planned this Thanksgiving, I hope you are sharing your time with friends, family, or someone who gives you meaning.
Be grateful for what you have, and you’ll end up having more…
Happy Thanksgiving!
Let kindness be contagious…
To Your Success,
Marla Brucker, DCH, R.H.A. Peak Performance Coach (858) 587-0422 Marla@SanDiegoHypnosis.com
