Did You Know?
Clean Ink Stains with Hair Spray Remove ink stains from a leather sofa by spraying an alcohol-based hair spray on the area, then blot. First, use a cotton swab on a tiny area to make sure it works and does not remove the color. This works on polyester, too!
Make Your Own Household Cleaner Mix 8-ounces of water with 2 ounces of distilled vinegar and two pumps of dish detergent in a spray bottle. This low-cost solution cleans rug stains like magic as well as stains on most surfaces, including countertops. Of course, try it on a small area first.
Clean with Club
Soda Pour club soda into a spray bottle and keep it in your car. A quick spritz dissolves bird droppings so they’re easy to wipe away. Drizzle it over a screw that’s rusted stuck and wait about five minutes. The rust will dissolve so that the screw is easy to turn. Pour a bit into a glass and soak jewelry with gemstones overnight. By morning, they’ll be sparkling again.
Increase Productivity by Making Your Bed Only about 40% of people make their beds every day. Extensive research suggests that this simple action, which takes just a few minutes, has a high correlation to increased productivity. Making one’s bed helps start a chain reaction each day that spurs better motivation and decision-making. It
creates an immediate and visual sense of accomplishment and momentum at the start of the day that enhances your ability to achieve other goals.
"If you really look closely, most overnight successes took a long time." ~ Steve Jobs
"There is a powerful driving force inside every human being that, once unleashed, can make any vision, dream, or desire a reality." ~ Tony Robbins
"Every adversity carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit." ~ Napoleon Hill
"No matter what the problem is, the main issue to work on is loving the self. This is the ‘magic wand’ that dissolves problems." ~ Louise Hay

Hi Everyone,
"Hard times don’t create heroes—they reveal the hero within." ~ Bob Riley
I love this quote because I too believe that everyone has a hero inside them waiting to emerge. But in order to unleash your "inner hero," you have to take action!
You have to do things that may be scary for you, or make you feel uncomfortable.
By facing obstacles, taking risks, and overcoming challenges you will become the hero that you’ve been waiting for. Do something now that you’ve had fear about or hesitated doing.
In order to grow as a person, we have to become comfortable with being uncomfortable. That’s where the magic happens!
"You'll never find a better sparring partner than adversity." ~ Golda Meir

Special Thanks
Thank you for joining us at our Virtual Inspirational "Happy" Hour. It was a GREAT success filled with lots of insight into creating a better world for ourselves and others.
I want to acknowledge our three amazing speakers, Nancy De Andrade, Ronnie Ebank, and Nina Mercie for inspiring us with their grace and wisdom as they enriched us with their special gifts.
We have held these events (in-house) five times a year for over the last 12 years and we want to continue offering them to you. At this time we need to do it virtually. This way we can continue to stay connected and even reach out to more of you. Our next Inspirational "Happy" Hour will be in September. We’ll keep you posted.
