Food Doesn’t Taste As Good If We Eat It While Standing: The physical strain of standing reduces the body’s sensory sensitivity, making tasty foods seem less flavorful. On the other hand standing helps people better tolerate unpleasant tastes such as medicine. Dieters – take note: The study also found that eating on your feet led to less consumption, which might mean weight reduction. (Dipayan Biswas, PhD. – Professor at the University of South Florida, Tampa)
Eating Dark Chocolate Lowers Depression: In a recent study, people who ate dark chocolate daily in any amount were 70% less likely to report symptoms of depression than people who didn’t eat dark chocolate. Other forms of
chocolate were not linked to lower depression. (Study published in Depression and Anxiety, by Lin Yang, PhD)
Thousands of 2018 Year Vehicles Unsold: Vehicles remain on dealer lots as 2020 models debut. Automakers failed to anticipate industry wide sales declines. Check various dealerships for any leftover 2018s. If one appeals to you, offer 20% below MSRP…or even less if the model has be redesigned since 2018 and/or attractive incentives are available on the 2019s. A glut of leftover 2019s are also likely available. (Ivan Drury – senior analyst at the vehicle-information: www.Edmunds.com)
Eating Nuts During Pregnancy May Boost Babies’ Cognitive Abilities: The children of women who reported eating the most nuts while pregnant scored significantly higher on tests of sustained attention, working memory, and IQ at ages one-and-one-half, five, and eight years old. Researchers speculate that the nuts high levels of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, as well as high levels of folate, may aid in the development of certain brain regions. (Study at Barcelona Institute of Global Health, Spain)
Smiling is a universal expression of happiness and friendliness; we naturally gravitate toward people who are smiling and happy.
"No one has yet computed how many imaginary triumphs are silently celebrated by people each year to keep up their courage." ~ Athenaeus
Opportunities are everywhere. It’s up to you to find (or create) them and make things happen.

Testimonials
"The possibilities for hypnosis are endless. Every day, people are using hypnosis to stop smoking, lose weight, eliminate fears and anxieties, and to ultimately achieve success. These are just a few examples of what hypnosis can do for you. I’d like to take a few moments to explain hypnosis and to share my own experience with the Motivational Institute of Hypnotherapy.
Hypnosis is a state of both physical and mental relaxation. For some, hypnosis can be like daydreaming. For others it may feel as though they are watching a movie, completely engaged in the film. Hypnosis allows us to go into our subconscious mind, go back into the past where negative beliefs were formed, and change them to form our desired outcome.
Hypnosis has helped me to build confidence and overcome social anxieties. I used to find myself quiet and timid in social situations. After applying techniques I learned at MIOH I was able to have control over my thoughts and feelings. I am now outgoing and self-assured. The Motivational Institute of Hypnotherapy has given me the tools for success to accomplish this and more. I am a completely different person (for the better) from when I started the program. I cannot speak highly enough about all the good things MIOH has done for me. Whether you’re looking to grow a business or empower yourself with success, this is the place for you!" ~ M. Hunter

Hi Everyone,
Do something today that your future self will thank you for…
During this busy holiday season remember to stop for a moment and appreciate the gift of the pause.
Listen to the words of your inner voice and the music behind the meaning…Be ready to hear the whisper of your intuition. Just by listening, it tickles your cells and they begin to giggle. When you have a dream from within, it is your voice of truth and wisdom. Honor those thoughts as you honor yourself.
You’re a reflection of your thoughts and beliefs. Make sure you’re in alignment with your truth. By changing your thoughts you change your life…
Be a reflection of yourself by dancing in the mirror as if no one is watching.
Read our Blog: "Use Your Life As a Classroom…"
I wish you all a healthy and happy holiday season.
To Your Success,
Marla Brucker, DCH, R.H. Peak Performance Coach (858) 587-0422 Marla@SanDiegoHypnosis.com
