Benefits of Medicinal Spices:
Cilantro is high in vitamins A and K and beta-carotene and, like any dark leafy green, it’s full of beneficial phytochemicals, including the natural antibiotic called dodecenal. In a UC Berkeley laboratory study, dodecenal killed the bacteria Salmonella more effectively than a powerful prescription antibiotic.
Ginger is widely used to treat nausea due to a variety of reasons. Ginger can also help relieve arthritis pain. With its aspirin-like effects, ginger inhibits two enzyme substances involved in the production of inflammatory hormones. Typical dose: 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of ginger daily. Be creative.
Turmeric (Curcumin; turmeric’s active ingredient) is one of the most potent of naturally occurring anti-inflammatory agents ever identified and thus may be one of the best all around spices for disease protection and anti-aging. Inflammation plays a central role in most chronic diseases. Turmeric can also be considered as a ‘brain health food." Research studies have found that turmeric reduces the build up of plaque in the brain that is associated with Alzheimer’s and cognitive decline. It also has potent anticancer properties. Consume some form of Turmeric powder daily. (NOTE: people with gallbladder problems should avoid this herb.)
"So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and soon they become inevitable." ~ Christopher Reeve
"If one advances confidently in the direction of their dreams and endeavors, to live the life that they had imagined, they will meet with success, unexpected in common hours." ~Thoreau
"Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance." ~Eckhart Tolle
"Thinking isn't always the answer. Sometimes the best thing to do is listen to everything your heart, body, and soul are trying to tell you."
Testimonials
"The day I called Marla to ask about the hypnotherapy certification training I was feeling lost and confused with my career and personal life. I felt stuck, like I had achieved a certain level of growth but I couldn't seem to get to the other side. I was working as a nurse at the time and Marla explained that this program would help me grow as an individual as well as give me clarity if this is the career I truly wanted to pursue, and either way I'd end up with a better relationship with myself. My expectations were blown out of the water. Marla and the other instructors at the Motivational Institute of Hypnotherapy helped me wake up my soul and the fun in my life. It saved my relationship with me and improved a thousand fold the relationships around me. The school and its deep, easy-to-understand, and powerful classes led me to a new career. It gave me the tools I needed to even start my own business! Four years
later I am a coach and use the skills I learned not only to improve my life but to help other women feel empowered and have fun and better relationships all around them! Words can't ever explain the love and gratitude I have for Marla and her support, guidance and training!" ~Jennifer C

Hi Everyone,
"Only one person can be in charge of your joy, and that's you." ~ Lisa Nichols
Charlie Chaplin once told an audience a wonderful joke and all the people started laughing... He repeated the same joke and only a few people laughed..???? He again repeated the same joke but this time no one laughed...????
Then he said these beautiful lines..
"When you cannot laugh on the same joke again and again...then why do you cry over and over again on the same worry."
* Nothing is permanent in this world, not even our troubles. * I like walking in the rain because nobody can see my tears. * The most wasted day in life is the day in which we have not laughed.
Enjoy your every moment of life…Life is beautiful!

"Find Your X-Factor"
Presenter: Sean Stewart
Have you ever felt unfulfilled in your life or work? Have you suffered from the weight of a mask or a facade you felt you had to uphold to keep others happy or your situation stable? While it might seem that ‘playing different roles’ is a necessity in life, how freeing would it be if you could be the real you everywhere you go?
Our presenter Sean has worked with hundreds of clients as a life and business coach for the last 10 years. He helps people with their own personal growth journey, assisting them in making commitments to showing up as their authentic selves in all situations. He’s been featured on NBC, Fox and The New York Times and shared stages with some of the biggest leaders in the personal growth and business industries such as Les Brown, Lisa Sasevich and Christian Mickelson.
In this empowering
talk, Sean will break down the 3 mistakes that cause people to live lives of desperation and disconnection, and the core shifts to live a life of power, purpose, and passion. Sean helps to inspire people to know that they too can become whole in all areas of their life and start being unapologetically their true self.
This will be a fun-filled evening complete with demonstrations, wine, appetizers, networking, raffle prizes (bring something to raffle), and good company. Learn more about Sean Stewart and his work at our website or the evite.
