Curb Snoring With This Scent The nose knows! One method that may help curb snoring is rubbing vanilla-scented body lotion over your shoulders, chest, and arms before bed. Clinical studies suggest olfactory exposure to vanilla — the primary compound in vanilla bean extract — diminishes snoring and even soothes distressed infants.
Another study published in Psychophysiology on the emotional qualities of odors and their influence on our startle reflexes found that when the olfactory nerve senses vanilla, it signals the brain to relax the overactive respiratory system. This kind of relaxation may, in turn, quiet snoring and help you sleep more sweetly
Kudos to Iceland Iceland has ranked first on the Global Peace Index for more than a decade. It’s the world’s most gender-equal country, has the lowest poverty rate among 38 countries in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and ranks third behind Finland and Denmark for happiness (USA Today).
Hack For Cleaner Clothes Lemon juice can brighten white fabrics and loosen tough stains by blotting them with a piece of lemon
Salt is good for removing bloodstains in cold, salted water. For grease stains, cover the spot with salt, wait for it to absorb, then brush it away before washing
Baking soda helps deodorize clothing — add about ½ cup at the start of the wash cycle
Mouthwash is great for refreshing funky gym clothes — add ½ cup of alcohol-based mouthwash to the rinse cycle.
Rubbing alcohol + dish soap work as a pretreatment for stains. Rubbing alcohol is also suitable for ink stains on white fabrics only.
Brushing Teeth: Before or After Breakfast? Surprisingly, before breakfast. Mouth bacteria are at peak levels when you wake up (hence the bad breath). Eating breakfast, especially foods with sugar (remember, carbs convert into sugar), causes bacteria to multiply. Brushing before breakfast clears away bacteria and boosts tooth-protective saliva.
If you brush after eating, wait 30 minutes to avoid damaging tooth enamel — especially if you’ve consumed acidic beverages like coffee or orange juice.

Hi Everyone,
Don’t change yourself just to make someone happy…unless that someone is you.
Are you like many people who are troubled by negative self-talk?
We often tell ourselves stories and believe them as truth. Those stories are just made up in your mind based on your perceptions.
Challenge your stories and change how you talk to yourself about who you are, what happened to you in the past, and what you will do with your life now. If you don’t like the story you’re living, change it and start writing a new script.
Let your self-talk be filled with the same compassion as when talking to someone you love. Be happy with where you are today, which will help you create a better tomorrow.
Enjoy the journey, not just the destination. Celebrate the whole process all along the way — and put yourself at the top of your list of priorities.
Make every relationship count. Most of all, enjoy the relationship with yourself!
Do those things that bring joy into your heart, independent of life and others.
Happiness is a choice. Give yourself permission to create it.
