How to Avoid Some Crowds at Amusement Parks Turn left when you enter the park. Most people are right-handed, so they tend to go to the right when they enter. That means bigger crowds and longer lines will usually be on the right after you enter.
Crave Less Sugar Caffeine dulls the brain receptors needed to taste sweetness, so you need more sugar for the same sweetness. Solution: Go Decaf to resist sugary temptations. (Study: Cornell University, NY, Published in Journal of Food Sciences.)
BPA-Free Products May Not be Healthy After All BPA-free plastic products may not be safer than those that contain BPA. To be safe, opt for glass and/or metal food and beverage containers, jars, and bottles. If you use plastic, avoid using the dishwasher and microwave—heat accelerates chemical release. Discard plastic if it shows signs of damage, such as haziness or cracks.
Easy Weight-Control Approach: Eat slowly. A study of 600,000 people found that slow eaters were 42% less likely to be overweight than fast eaters…and normal-speed eaters were 29% less likely to be overweight than fast eaters. Study participants who reduced their eating speed during the six-year study were likelier to lose weight. Possible reason: It takes 20 minutes after eating for the brain to receive satiety signals. In that time, faster eaters consume more calories. (Study at Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan.)

Hi Everyone,
You hold the power of choice, to embrace strength or succumb to weakness…
Archie Williams was sent to prison and incarcerated for 37 years for someone else's crime. Even though he experienced extreme hardships, he stayed strong, reminding himself daily that even though he was in prison, he’d never let his mind go to prison. Archie was determined to let go of the circumstances and believe in his truth, which he called freedom of the mind.
Your situation or environment does not determine your happiness.
There is a switch inside us waiting to be turned on. We have the power to choose happiness, regardless of what's happening around us. Too many people think the answers to contentment and joyfulness are found outside of ourselves. Don't look for it outside; it is there within you. Turn on the switch in the quest for happiness.
Your mind is complex and powerful and is often the most daunting obstacle you must overcome each day. The profound truth is that, despite the challenges that life presents, we have the power to shape our own reality.
